Join us this July in H Town for a night of comedy as Gag n Bone Man Comedy presents Harriet Kemsley and Friends!
Harriet Kemsley is one of Britain’s fastest rising comedy stars, having recently starred in Last One Laughing on Amazon.
Harriet is an award winning comedian, writer and actress. She has starred in the Viceland reality sitcom Bobby and Harriet: Get Married which she co-created and co-wrote with her husband Bobby Mair, to huge critical acclaim. She can also be seen on Dave’s Hypothetical, ITV’s Hey Tracey, Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, and is a recurring guest on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and 8 Out of 10 Cats. Her other credits include hosting the BBC Radio 4 Comedy Club, The Radio 1 Comedy Lounge, BBC3’s Comedy Marathon, The One Show (Edinburgh Special) and Kevin’s Hart’s LOL Live.
Harriet’s awards include the Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year Finalist, Funny’s Funny Winner, Up The Creek New Act of the Year Winning and Leicester Square New Act of the Year Finalist. She has been described by Time Out as ‘a very funny rising star’ and as one of Rhod Gilbert’s ‘Ten Comics to See’ in the Mail on Sunday.
Plus, we have support from the award winning comedy improv duo The Halls of Ridiculous, who bring a breath of fresh air to the UK comedy scene, combining lightning-fast improvised comedy with high-octane character sketches. But here’s the twist – every bit of hilarity is conjured up on the spot, fuelled by the audience’s suggestions, ideas, and occasionally, their wonderfully weird imaginations. Their comedic prowess was recognised in 2023 when they clinched the ‘Best Alternative Act’ title at The Yorkshire Comedy Awards and secured the Southport Comedy Awards’ prestigious ‘New Comedian of The Year Award’.
As if that wasn’t enough, we also have Kent Cameron, a semi-finalist in the British Comedian of the Year. Kent secured the crown as Gag and Bone Man Comedy’s New Act of the Year in 2023, and was a finalist in Comedy Hotspot’s Search for a Star, also in 2023.
The show is hosted by Gag n Bone Man’s very own Graeme Rayner!
