Sales Manager - Full Time (Kudos Catering)

Kudos Catering are award winning food and venue management experts, we provide our services at a number of contract catering sectors in the UK. Kudos are part of the Crown Partnership, one of the leading event and catering companies in the industry.

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our fantastic team in John Smith’s Stadium to promote non match day sales

We are looking for someone that is ready for a challenge and working with a fantastic team to shout out in the market place what an amazing venue we have!

 

Main Duties and responsibilities

  • Management of the reactive sales team members, ensuring they undertake their daily duties in the most productive way for the maximum benefit of the business
  • Through outbound calling and networking, generate new business contacts to profile raise the venue for non match day sales
  • Through using the venue past client data, identify lapsed users and re contact in order to re win their business (older than 18 months)
  • Attend key commercial events within the venue, other appropriate networking and hospitality events to raise exposure of John Smith’s Stadium for non match day sales
  • Ensuring all members of the team follow company procedures and best sales practices
  • Evaluate and grade enquiries for profitability/suitability
  • Prepare all financial, enquiry and business figures and reports for sales meetings as required

Hospitality / Conference and Events Vacancies - Part Time (Kudos Catering)

We are currently recruiting staff and Managers for our prestigious hospitality areas.

Staff – You will have excellent customer service skills engaging with many different clientele; be passionate about the hospitality industry; willing to work within bar/waiting areas and be able to commit to the season to ensure our excellent service standards are maintained. A minimum of 1 years’ experience is essential due to nature of the business.

Managers – As a Manager you will support the management team and assist in maintaining our excellent customer experience through motivating and training our team of casual staff. You must be hands on, self motivated, be passionate about the business and strive to identify opportunities to upsell within the hospitality areas. This position plays a key role on matchday and it is essential you are able to commit to the season and be flexible with working hours. The position is casual, however Kudos encourage development/progression within their teams and offer additional work during non-matchday events.It is anticipated that applicants will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within the hospitality industry.

Part Time Vacancies – Turnstile Operators

Kirklees Stadium Development Ltd is looking for people who are willing to work matchdays, predominantly Huddersfield Town games, but may be required for Huddersfield Giants games.  Matchdays can be any evening during the week or weekends throughout the year.

Your main role and responsibility will be to ensure the safe and swift entry to the Ground of the general public attending events at The John Smith’s Stadium.

Previous experience of dealing with customers and cash handling is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

You must be an honest individual, punctual and committed to attending most matches and events held at the Stadium.  You must be of smart appearance, work well within a team and you must enjoy interacting with people.  Good communication skills are essential.

You will work approximately 2½ to 3 hours on match/event days, the specific hours will be variable depending on the time of kick off.  Match or event days can be any day of the week but are predominantly Saturdays and Sundays.  The pay rate for this job is minimum wage, plus holiday pay.

Part Time Vacancies - Match Day Stewards

Kirklees Stadium Development Ltd is looking to recruit the following matchday staff to work at The John Smith’s Stadium from November 2019 onwards: Safety Stewards, Car Park Stewards and Courtesy Stewards.

Matchday staff are expected to work a minimum of 75% of all Huddersfield Town and Huddersfield Giants games, along with any other events or matches held at the Stadium. ‘Matchdays’ can be any evening during the week or weekends throughout the year.

The primary role of a Steward is to ensure the safety of the general public at all times during an event taking place at the Stadium. Ideal candidates will be those who enjoy interacting with people, have good communication skills and are willing to attend training in order to achieve a Level 2 qualification in Spectator Safety. Applicants must be aged 18 or over for these roles.

Working as a Steward can be an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding experience. A number of our Matchday Staff have been with us for over 10 years, some even 20 years and we are looking to increase and strengthen our Stewarding teams.
