We’ve stepped in to Spring, the sun is putting his hat on (or at least, trying to!) and the Easter holidays are upon us! Whether you’re cool, calm and collected about the kids being off for two weeks, or you’re sat wondering where to begin with planning a fun, activity-filled break to keep everyone entertained – here at The John Smith’s Stadium, we could help you out!

For a trip out that tickles the tastebuds, why not gather friends and family and book in for an Afternoon Tea in the remarkable surroundings here at The John Smith’s Stadium? With a delicious selection of sweet and savoury delights on offer, that can be tailored to your requirements, an afternoon tea at The John Smith’s Stadium would be sure to go down a treat with everyone!
For the sporting fanatics!
If you need something sport associated to grab your kids’ attention for longer than five minutes, you’ve come to the right place! The Joh Smith’s Stadium is home to both Huddersfield Town Football Club and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Club, and outside of matchdays, there’s the opportunity to join in our stadium tours! Taking you behind the scenes and giving you access to restricted areas, you will visit the club dressing rooms, players tunnel and dugouts before heading to the heart of the stadium – The Boardroom – where you will learn more about how the respective clubs have evolved over the years, in an environment surrounded by their fantastic memorabilia.
But if that wasn’t enough – why not bring the family down for an actual game? Kick off the Easter weekend with Huddersfield Town v Coventry on Good Friday, or see out the school holidays when they’re at home again to Millwall on Saturday 6th April. If you’re a rugby fan, the Giants unfortunately aren’t back in action at The John Smith’s Stadium again until Friday 3rd May – but why not get it booked in your calendar for something to look forward to!?

For those full of energy – why not pop down to The Zone, situated next door to us here at The Stadium! Powered by Huddersfield Giants Community Trust, who have an aim to use the power of sport to inspire people of all ages and abilities, The Zone provides sports, fun and play for all ages. From soft play to 5 a side pitches, gymnastic to cheerleading – it’s all going on at the zone! There might even be some school holiday camps to get involved in! Why not come down and have a look?
