John Smith’s

Tadcaster’s finest ale is named after its favourite son, John Smith. The original brewery was established back in 1758 and John Smith acquired it 100 years later. His legendary ales were an instant success and soon became a favourite with the town’s thirsty mill workers. Some things never change; John Smith’s is still brewed in Tadcaster and is the nation’s favourite ale.
