Core Facility Services is delighted to be helping local businesses tackle sustainability through an exciting new initiative, Gain Kirklees.

The scheme officially launched at The John Smith’s Stadium in February and we are now working with a number of organisations to plan and implement a sustainability strategy, reduce their costs and engage their workforce.

Gain Kirklees will also create a fund for eco projects in the community, administered by One Community, which is why the scheme is particularly good for businesses that want to demonstrate CSR.

The scheme has received praise from The John Smith’s Stadium, Chadwick Lawrence solicitors and Colne Valley MP Jason McCartney.

Mr McCartney said: “If your business isn’t involved yet I would urge you to come on board so that we can see real change in our region and lead by example when it comes to facing the challenge of the climate emergency head on.”

Daniel Krigers of Chadwick Lawrence added: “We are looking forward to working with Core Facility Services through Gain to develop a robust strategy which will reduce our impact on the environment, generate bottom line savings for our business, inspire our staff and give something back to the Kirklees community.”
