Educating Yorkshire’s Michael Steer and leading figures from Green & Blacks and Super Jam entertained and informed the packed seminars at the John Smith’s Stadium for this year’s annual Kirklees Business Conference.
The occasion was the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s first year at hosting the event independently and was a resounding success. It was the busiest yet, with over 800 people involved on the day.
Focused on manufacturing, innovation and international trade, the conference boasted partnership with the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre, The University of Huddersfield and The Yorkshire Asian Business Association.
The partners worked together to execute a hugely successful day, enjoyed by all who attended, covering topics from; marketing strategy with Fantastic Media and upcoming business opportunities with the Kirklees Council. The partners also led the day online, with Ramsdens running their renowned ‘tweet shop’ pick and mix stand and Swooshed’s amazing ‘tweet board’.
The event offered the guests access to a wide range of exciting seminars and clinics based around business opportunities and strategies, as well as 57 different exhibitor stands.
All representatives were offered access to the conference free of charge and exhibitors stands started from just £195.00.
The event had a fantastic turnout, with many guests tweeting that this year’s conference was “The Best One Yet!”
On behalf of the Chamber, the Stadium would like to give a massive thank you to all of the partners, exhibitors and delegates who helped to make the conference an amazing success and the best one held to date!
