Sporting his famous yellow shirt, 2014 Grand Slam and 2015 Premier League Finalist Dave ‘Chizzy’ Chisnall will be taking on former professional darts player Wayne ‘Hawaii 501’ Mardle in a darts exhibition being held at The John Smith’s Stadium, on September 23rd.
The pair will be joined on stage by fellow sporting legends; Huddersfield Giants and England prop forward Eorl Crabtree and former Huddersfield Town and England player Trevor Cherry. Legendary Sky Sports commentator and the voice of darts, John Gwynne will perform as Master of Ceremonies at the Exhibition and will be joined by walk on girl Sammi Marsh.
The evening, which is sponsored by John Smith’s, will also support local homeless charity Simon on the Streets, one of the dedicated charity partners of the Stadium. There will be a charity auction held on the evening offering guests the chance to win some fantastic sporting memorabilia.
Dave ‘Chizzy’ Chisnall commented, “Im really looking forward to this event. These intimate events allow us to really get involved with our fans and the Yorkshire crowd always deliver a great atmosphere. The John Smith’s Stadium is a fantastic venue and the opportunity to get up on stage again with Wayne [Mardle] alongside local legends Eorl & Trevor will be great fun. Tickets are priced at £30 or £50 for VIP and will provide VIP guests with the chance to meet the players, enjoy a meal before the main event and priority seating in the event suite.
Also on the night, two lucky members of the audience will be chosen to join the sporting stars on the stage and get involved in the action.
