The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has announced from Monday 23rd March they will move from Lockwood Park to take up residence at the Stadium. The move will see Chamber staff including MYExport Hub, the international trade arm of the Chamber, reclocating to our offices.
The Chamber and the John Smith’s Stadium have worked in partnership for a number of years to drive business within the Mid Yorkshire community.
Commenting on the move, Martin Hathaway, chief executive at Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce said: “The move to John Smith’s Stadium is a really positive step for us. Our new office is well located within the Mid Yorkshire region and has access to fantastic onsite facilities.
“By bringing the Chamber team together under one roof this will make for more efficient working; improving the service to our members and ensuring continued success throughout Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.”
Gareth Davies, managing director of the John Smith’s Stadium said: “I am particularly pleased to be entering into a new chapter of our relationship with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
“The work they do is of crucial importance to the local economy and we look forward to working even more closely with them and their member organisations going forward.”
Following the premises review the Chamber will continue to have an office within the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre in Halifax and MYExport Hub will run a flexible appointment service in Wakefield.
